 Acousto-Scan
Pty Ltd and its laboratory were established in 1995 to provide a
research, development and testing facility in the areas of
- sports installations
- acoustic, non-destructive
(NDT)
- mechanical testing.
Other laboratories were
established in the U.S. (Acousto-Scan Inc.) and the U.K.(Acousto-Scan
Ltd). The facilities comprise a staff with wide expertise and technical
experience in these nominated fields, administrative and computer
skills and laboratory workshops fitted with the comprehensive range
of equipment required for these objectives.
The aim of Acousto-Scan is
to offer technical expertise in the academic, government and commercial
arenas, and to provide a state of the art commercial testing facility.
The Laboratories offer a comprehensive range of testing, research
and development services which may be commissioned for laboratory
or on site application.
The Laboratory maintains the
following accreditations:
- NATA
Accredited Test Laboratory No: 14383

of the FIH (Federation
Internationale de Hockey) for the testing and certification
of synthetic hockey pitch products, pitches and equipment.

laboratory of FIFA (Federation Internationale de Football
Associations) for testing synthetic Soccer pitches.
